I recently opened a small taxidermy shop. It appears some of the neighbors are not happy about the way i dispose of the remains. I share a building and the other company has a dumpster they allow me to use. Am i allowed to put remains in there? Does it have to be bagged? What are my options.

From some research that I have done, you are allowed to dispose of them in the dumpster. However, please keep in mind that the sight may not be pleasant. I would recommend placing them in bags and only putting them in the dumster the night before or the morning of a scheduled pick up. I think this situation is more ethical than legal. Thanks for doing the right thing for the hunting community. There is a link below to the Board of Animal Health Website that gives additional ideas for disposal. www.in.gov/boah/2428.htm
