Just remember "This ain't Hallywood" and we want to know the real truth when all is said and done.
Just one question, why 5 hunters....and Kyle? Could it be that maybe Kyle is the model for another F&S cover shoot and not a real hunter.
Good luck guys and remember, keep it safe.

I'm up at 430am..... Gotta pay up on a bet to 911 so it will be me buying the donuts this morning. (yawn) I hope I can find a bakery open on Saturday AM or else he'll be eatting gas station donuts! LOL
Art.... yes.....5 hunters and Kyle. We aren't really sure about Kyle (if you get my drift) so until he can prove his "orientation" I'm going to just keep him as unclassified at this juncture. Hehe.
BG... Where abouts do ya live my friend? Usually the best way to get the invite is to send wads of cash in large unmarked bills to 911 and Kyle. They hold the keys to unlock the fields in which all the geese live. Oh yeah, donuts usually will help unlock those gates too! LOL. Donuts are like gold in our hunting circle.... do not desecrate the donuts!!!!
Alright fellas, some of us gotta go hunting. So you other guys who wont hunt when the sun is shining, aheeeemmm, just keep sleeping and wake up here in 4 or 5 hours knowing what a terrible mistake you made by not joining in. ;D
Reports and pics to be posted later!

First off.... Regardless of the lack of shooting action, we had a good time meeting up on the frozen fields this morning. It was worth getting up just to hear Chico's discussions about protein and fitness. This hunt was sponsord by the Scottsburg Gun Shop, as Chico recommends highly! And, we cannot forget the Pendleton Bakery for all the donuts this morning!
Some explainations are in order. You will not be seeing any goofy photos, or prety sunrise pictures as I went off and left my digital on the kitchen counter. You'd think that one of the other guys would be able to come through with a camera but Nooooooo. So, at least for this trip everyone is safe.
It was chilly this morning, but it warms up nicely when you hide a heater in your layout blind. I felt quite toasty....I don't know why Allegiance was shivering so much! Special thanks to Chicobrownbear and Jstalljon for joining us this brisk morning. We had a sure thing until the scent of Jstall's urine contaminated our hunting field and the geese wanted no part. Kyle warned you and you continued to whizz all over our cut corn. No wonder we didn't kill any! Just so all you fellow members know...before the decoys were even out we had to keep Chico from undressing! He was caught with his pants down behind one of the trucks... No clue what he was doing, all I can say is THANK GOD he didn't kill anything, cause no tellin' what he was planning for the photo shoot.
Like John said, we did see some good flocks....but the flooding in our area had the geese doing exactely a 180 from what we thought was going to happen. The birds were coming from the opposite direction than what they had been doing routinely. They knew where they were going and didn't care at all about the 7-8dozen dekes we had put out for their arrival. We saw some though, so the hunt was a sucess in my book!
The morning was filled with comments on social issues, the state of hunting, politics....and oh yeah, Kyle getting a "double" last night (you'll have to ask him about that one!) I did promise that something would die this morning and I do not tell lies. On the way from meeting Chico and Jstalljonat the interstate 911 proceeds to plow over a bunny rabbitt and left quite the carnage behind for the other guys to dodge in their trucks.
While I'm thinking about it....911, we're still awaiting the arrival of that Hot Chocolate.....and no, we aren't talking about one of Kyle's old girlfriends!!!!
We had a safe and enjoyable time with friends and for most of us, that was enough... The birds didn't want to cooperate and that stinks, but since Art wasn't there to talk them into coming to our spreads. Thanks all for coming along and making some memories, even if some of those memories are like plaque on my brain!
Till next time...............

Travis you forgot the part about Wal Mart being closed at 6 am ?? It was closed John...I swear to God man..I'll tell it to your face. PS - I stole 2 shells....LOL.....kidding. Well...finally back to work and able to get on line. I've obviously missed quite a few colorful pictures and discussions! It was great meeting all you boys. Thanks for putting Chico and I on SO many birds! You are OUTSTANDING guides. What a great opening waterfowling experience...I'm definitely addicted now!!! ;D Still had a blast. And I saw several fresh goose scrapes, hence my constant urination! Now I have to get back to making all those tooth brushes for the kids this Christmas!!! ;D So John.....did you get your ambulance???
