Was told today by a fellow hunter that helps instruct hunter saftey classes, he is under the impression if the land a person hunts is posted by the land owner with No Trespassing / No Hunting signs, that person could be breaking the law by hunting that property even though a he/she have legal written permission to do so. He said this is a gray area within the law that many hunters are unaware of... Any truth to this?

If you have permission to hunt property by the landowner, then you would be legal. However, if the land is posted, I would request written permission even though it is not required. This would just cover the hunter in case there was ever a question and the landowner was unavailable.
