I have been working to much to really put the hurts on them but we have managed to take 68 out of the fawn/rabbit killing equation. I can not kill them fast enough! This pic is of the last week of Feb. take.

That's an amazing total! I'll bet I haven't seen 68 coyotes in my lifetime.

I'm going out to Colorado next year on a cow only elk hunt. One of the guys said he sewed up a couple of ranches for us to coyote hunt on, and one ranch to night hunt for 'yotes and bobcats. It'll be in December, and we'll be at 7,000' plus, so if I get a bobcat it's coming home to be stuffed. The yotes that we saw last December looked like big furballs.
Good snaring! How many sets do you usually have out?

Anywhere from 150-200 sets on several farms.

Great job Savagehead. Where are you located and what size cable and locks do you use? If you don't mind me asking. I usually only run 25 or so snares on my 33 acres at one time.

Here is a link to what I use. If you have any questions please feel to ask.Be aware that anytime you use dyed snares that you need to work the cam-lock to ensure they are moving freely due to the dyeing process. I am located in a little town called Newtown.C-Ville,Attica,Hillsboro,Mellot area. dakotalinesnares.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=21_37&products_id=568

Savagehead, Thanks, I also use the 7x7 32 cable and only boil mine in baking soda to take the shine off.
