I acquired a place to hunt urban deer on a 3 1/2 acre lot. Hunted it 3 times and the neighbor confronted me on the 3rd hunt. I'm 15 yrds from the property line and I'm hunting a creek bed that runs through the small wooded portion of the property, that faces away from his property. He doesn't like the idea of me hunting the deer on his neighbors property. Yesterday morning, I get there and at day break, I notice just inside his property line, he has placed a salt block. Does that now prevent me from hunting this small wooded lot? Or is there a certain distance I can be from the salt block? i can move to the other side of the creek, but, I would still be less than 100 yrds from salt block. Also, would that be considered harassment? The land owner I'm hunting on says, that's the first time he has ever seen a salt block on the neighbors property.

No doubt he placed it so you could not hunt there.

My recommendation is to contact the Conservation Officer assigned to your county. The best method to use, if you do not already have the information, is our Central Dispatch which is open 24 hours at 8128379536.

My apologies Morrison. I answered that off my iPhone and I thought the question was in the Deer Forum. I'll look closer next time.
Sorry ...
