There is nothing in statute or administrative rule that states you cannot hunt more than one species at a time. However, If you are in a deer stand with a rifle, the Conservation Officer will probably question you on your activities. It is difficult to distinguish between a squirrel hunter in a tree stand with a rifle and a deer hunter in a tree stand with a rifle. Understand that the officer has a job to perform and part of that is figuring out what activities are being conducted.
