Pretty cool deal. I do wonder if they charge for the GON magazine? Georgia Outdoor News sounds like the IDNR newsletter that IN puts out and that's free.
They should do this here in IN too.
I'll start another thread about ticks and fleas as they are coming out since it's warmed up now. Hunting in the spring and summers has it's good things and bad things.
I like in the article where he said the coyotes had pups. Lots of pups.
I think they said that coyotes are not native to Georgia? Were there not Coyotes and wolves and bears here in the USA before the late 1700's? Did we not eradicate most of the dangerous big game or severely deplete their numbers? I don't think you will see any Grizzle bears in GA unless you go to the zoo. But I do agree that we need to control the number of coyotes no matter if they were native to the state or not. They are a pest IMHO and compete with man for food and game. Yes they do serve a purpose in nature but I think that man can do that job and have a lot more fun at it. Now if there were no hunters out there hunting rabbits, quail, turkeys, deer etc than the coyotes, wolves, bears and cats would serve a purpose as predators keeping other non predators numbers in check and in balance with the flora etc. I see where that's the way that nature does things. But today man is part of nature and I'd rather get to go hunting and see more game than no game or very little game. Therefore the coyote has to go.

If you have an issue with coyotes send me a PM. Either myself or the several experienced coyote hunters I'm friends with throughout the state can help you out. If you don't want the hunted and prefer them taken our utilizing trapping same deal send me a PM. Whether it's common knowledge or not in Indiana The coyote population continues to boom. They most definitely need to be hunted hard.
