Hunting private property. During coyote hunting season. Lifetime license holder.
If I'm archery (crossbow) deer hunting now, while coyote season is in progress, can I legally have my .223 rifle (and a predator call) in the tree accessible to me?
As long as there isn't a deer on the ground with a .223 sized hole in it, I am legal, right? Rifle will be hanging on a hook alongside the stand except if I'm blowing on the call or a 'yote is sighted. Then the x-bow will be hanging on the hook.
