someone has put up a stand in the small woods we hunt. They do not have the land owners permission. How do we handle this without a cofrontation.Can we thake it down, and leave it on the ground? Or just put a note on it? Thanks

The LANDOWNER can remove the stand and leave a note for the owner to contact them. The LANDOWNER can just leave a note for the treestand owner to contact them. The landowner is the only person legally able to say what occurs on their property. The landowner should contact the local Conservation Officer to inform him/her of the situation. They can be contacted through our Central Dispatch at 8128379536.
