Looking to join/partner in lease

Hello all. I am interested in joining a lease with a few hunters that might be in need of another hunter. I am also interested in teaming up with others if any new leases are being considered.

I live in Indy but have been driving to southern Indiana to hunt deer in Green Sullivan.

I'm hoping to find something closer and something I can possibly get my young children involved in from time to time (10 year Old daughter and 8 year old son).

Are there any opportunities out there like that?

Hello again all. This is a shameless bump to try and find a hunting group/partnership/club that is in need of another member or to possibly start up with me.

I am desperately looking for a lease for this hunting season and moving forward, but the leases I have found aren't all that thrilling for me or way outside of what I want to pay solo.

I am planning to buy some property next year to never have to worry over this again, but for now I am looking for something this year. Anyone know of any opportunities available?

I can tell you from my experience talking to leasing companies that, according to their policies, if the name is not on the lease, they can not hunt there. Meaning, you wouldnt be able to take your kids hunting unless you list them on the lease. and they count towards the # of people allowed.... so say the lease if for a max of 2 hunters... well.... thats you and 1 of your kids. and you cant swap out names. now, of course, i highly doubt landowners are going to care if you bring your kid out, but just letting you know, thats the kind of manure you are going to find with leasing companies.

Every fall there are a few people offering small hunting leases around here on craigslist.

As far as kids go, I can take them with me for a few hints on public land. I have a few spots that I would be able to do that with them.

As far as getting a lease, I don't mind being the only one on the lease from my home

I will check Craigslist but I'm not too hopeful with that :/ I've not used that method much but I am not against trying it.

I have 2 openings on an established lease in Gibson county. Your kids wouldn't count towards the number of hunters as they are required to be in your presence while on the lease thus only taking up 1 spot. 750 acres of river bottom ground on the Wabash and Patoka river. Price is $800 per lease holder per year. My number is 5026824397.

How many hunters will be on the lease total?

Does it include any other hunting besides deer?

Gs1 it is a full years lease. Any legal game species can be hunted with membership

That's a good deal if there is any game present.
