Well we made it through the weekend. We had lots of help from conservation officers and instructors.
the students ranged from young kids to middle aged adults.
Some had trapped a little while most had never even set a trap.
The students received lots of free gifts donated by many different dealers, and associations.
There were 5 groups of students (52 total) that went out on a trap line and actually set traps. They then returned the next morning to check and pull all the sets.
A few raccoon and beaver were dispatched and brought back for fur handling demonstrations.
Some animals were released unharmed.
The students and instructors all ate like kings.
I'm not sure who had more fun the instructors of the students. there were smiles all weekend long.
A special thanks to the following groups for their donation to the camp.
