Greetings
I had a job to do in the forest earlier on, and on the way back i had a look at the field were a fox is causing trouble killing hens and geese.
I phoned the man up and said that fox is out there at your place but i cannot see it it must be down behind your house.
He phoned me back and said yes it was in the back field, i said why did you not barrel it, i could of cried at his answer, he said.
MY GUN WAS LOCKED UP IN ITS CABINET.
Then he asked how i knew it was there becaue it was impossible for me to see from the road, i said well thats why i get paid for what i do, then i tried to tell him my dad was a red indian, lol
I eventually told him the truth, the magpies told me there was a fox somewhere, magpies go ape if they know there is a fox around.
So now i have wired a hen carcass to the ground and i will be sitting out tonight starting at nine pm and see if he comes back, he may, he may not, depends how big a scare he got, but i am going to have to try.
It is now 6.30pm here and just turning dark.
If its a quiet night i will use the hornet if the wind gets up it will be the 308.
Its all go on this side of the pond,lol
