We appreciate you taking the time to answer our questions.... Even when we arent the one posting the question we are able to learn particulars and specifics about situations we may find ourselves in one day.
Appreciate it.

I appreciate your compliment. Never hesitate to ask. I will research the question to the best of my ability through the state code, administrative rules, and asking other more knowledgeable people. I do not post my opinions on here because that is not what people want. They want to know what the law does or does not say and as difficult as it may be, I keep my thoughts (At least most of the time) to myself. I have stated my entire career that I would rather spend 20 minutes answering your question than the two minutes it would take for me to issue a ticket. Voluntary compliance is the main goal of the enforcement of laws. Many times this can be accomplished through education, answering questions, and interacting with a person at a point prior to a violation occurring. Everyone has heard the phrase that "Ignorance of the law is no excuse" and the reason for that is because a failure on a person's part to ask questions to get clarification as well as knowledge on any subject is unexcusable. Have a wonderful and safe day.
