Can you purchase an additional antlerless license from your smart phone and use it during a hunt by writing down the info? Or, does it need to be printed off? My boss and I are hunting a nature preserve antlerless deer reduction that requires using your own tags, and he has a bundle license but wants to save one tag for a buck. The county is a 4 bonus quota county. I have a lifetime license so it does not affect me. Thank you.

According to the statute posted below a license that is purchased may be shown utilizing an electronic device. I will caution individuals on a few topics. The license must be purchased PRIOR to utilizing it for hunting purposes. The license will have a date and time printed on it stating when it was purchased. For example, if an officer observes a person hunting for 30 minutes and when the officer conducts a license check, the license shows it was purchased 15 minutes ago, this is probably not going to have an enjoyable outcome. Let me know if you have any other questions.
(e) All licenses, stamps, or permits purchased electronically are valid only with the original signature or electronic affirmation of the licensee on the form or device prescribed by the director. The licensee's signature or electronic affirmation serves as an affidavit that the license, stamp, or permit information is true and accurate.
