I have about 62 acres in blackford county. I've already got the deer I want for the year but I'm trying to get my friend his first deer. If I want to go out and try to get a coyote with my bow, is there anything I can do to prove that I'm not out there trying to shoot deer? I don't want to run into any issues of people thinking we're party hunting or anything like that. Would it be best to just wait until after deer season is out? Let me know thanks!

There is no administrative rule or state statute that restricts you from hunting coyotes with a bow during deer season. It should not be an issue. However, I would not be blowing a grunt call and rattling antlers because that would be difficult to explain as coyote hunting. Good luck and be safe.
