I have two coons and one opossum that I'm using as bait for coyotes tonight on that Marine's property. I'll set three hole traps, and one bait pile. I've been dumping coon scraps, so they come to check it. I'll hide out until midnight and then come home if they don't show up. No calls.

I caught something last night. It was still dark when I left to work this morning. I will check it out when I get home. I've been catching all of my neighbors 1/2 wild cats. My guess another one. Cats eat baby animals too. SHOOT AND SHOVEL. It was a opossum. I let it go. I keep opossum to keep the skunks from moving in. I take out coons and yokes when I catch them.

I found a whole dead coon covered up by the creek at the Crawforsville farm. It had been covered up by some animal. I stole it, and set up a foot/hole trap there.
I set two other hole traps; hoping to get some coyotes.
I drug an open coon to my bait pile and waited for a couple hours. I hear them calling from the direction I wanted them to come, but they never came over.
The coyotes seem to like my coons, but they haven't touched my opossums.
