Had an interesting conversation with a fellow hunter. The time that is printed on an Indiana hunting license, Is that time eastern time zone as in Indianapolis time or actually central time zone where we few in southern Indiana live and from the time zone the license is purchased from? Also I believe that the check in time for reported harvested deer on the Check-IN website also is based on eastern time zone. Both the hunting license and check-in websites use eastern time zone?? Is this correct???

All licenses and electronic check in systems utilize the Eastern Standard Time. This is due to the server that provides the information is located in Indianapolis. The time stamp will be followed with "EST" on these documents so that the actual time is documented.
