When the night coyotes hunting is legal I am going to call my brother in Union and get out there and have some fun.

Here in Indiana you can hunt them 24 hours a day.

Although hunting them is fun, it will NEVER be as efficient as trapping them, EVER. I don't trap, and would love to shoot them ALL, but got to be realistic. Kingsbury FWA has hired trappers for their yote problem.

We have a lot of coyotes in western Kentucky. They serve their purpose, however they are starting to have a negative impact on deer numbers.

If Americans would just wear more fur then the coyote population would be held more in check

I saw a coyote out in my back field this morning! Went upstairs to shoot him out my bedroom window but he jumped back into the pine thicket. Still have my .222 CZ rifle ready to go if I see him again, the shot will be a long one, some 200 yards+.

If Americans would just wear more fur then the coyote population would be held more in check I can just see the PETA types now! How true! Some people think that dogs are human and dress them in people cloths made to fit their dogs. Yuck on that. Dogs have fleas, ticks and other nasty parasites and they lick their buts and then lick you in the face. They are dogs not kids. I'd love to kill as many wild coyotes as possible if given the chance. And I've raised German Shepard's and many other smaller dogs for pets. That would not stop me from shooting a mangy coyote if given the chance.
