First time trapping

Headed to Hoosier Trapper to get supplies to start trapping. Looking at dirt hole set and some bait to get it going. I bought a foot hold trap and it has a very short chain. It looks like I need some wire and an Arrow Earth anchor to put in the ground? I'm not sure what exactly to do as far as location but I did see tracks during deer season and have a general idea of where to put it.

Is the arrow anchored into the ground enough?

Stopped by Hoosier trapper last night and they helped me out with bait, earth anchors, urine and a spike to put anchors in the ground.

Great service and very nice owner. I hope to get a few in the urban spot and will post pics....after this snow of course.
