How many deer could a youth legally take under apprentice license?
My understanding is one during special youth season, plus two in archery, plus one in firearms( if a buck and their one buck hasn't been shot prior) plus one in muzzleloader......with of course only one of those being a buck.
Am I correct?
And what about bonus does? Covered under youth apprentice?

The license would also cover bonus antlerless and the special antlerless season. the youth consolidated license covers everything a youth needs to hunt without having to purchase anything additional. with the exception of a federal waterfowl stamp once the youth is 15.

I normally reserve responses in this section to Morrison but I will address one other point he did not cover; that being the Special Youth Deer season you mentioned as the restriction to one deer only changed a few years back and others need to know this as well. Here is the applicable code: 312 IAC 9-3-4
(b) The special youth deer season is two (2) consecutive days beginning on the Saturday immediately before October 1 or as approved annually by the director as follows: (1) The seasonal limit for hunting deer under this subsection is one (1) antlered deer and the number of antlerless deer established under subsection (g) for the county being hunted. If the county being hunted is designated as an "A" county under subsection (g), the youth hunter may take no more than one (1) antlerless deer under this subsection. (2) A youth hunter who takes an antlered deer under this subsection may not take another antlered deer during the: (A) archery seasons established in subsection (c); (B) firearm season established in subsection (e); or (C) muzzleloader season established in subsection (f).
