These are always good for a little discussion. Pretend this is a deer that you want to shoot. Would you shoot him at this angle, and if so where? The top dot is #1, the middle is #2 and the bottom is #3.

I wouldn't shoot until he got broadside. Usually a feeding deer will get into the broadside position if you just wait. Poor shot selection is probably the #1 reason for lost deer. h.h.

This deer is killable at this distance and even at that angle, but so much can go wrong. A little off and you've got misery.. Bowhunting is a game of patience...I'd pass and wait

I would wait for him to step broadside, or angling away to get the shoulder out of the way & expose the vitals for a higher percentage shot.

That deer is relaxed and feeding. Assuming I am already drawn back he would be riding home with me. I didn't see his range so I assume he is inside 20 yds. Red dot 2nd up from bottom.

No harm in waiting for him to step broadside. He is relaxed and feeding. If I had to shoot right this second I would shoot for the red dot second from the top. Here is a website that may help. home.mn.rr.com/deerfever/Anatomy.html

Psycho~~I said to PRETEND that this is a deer you want to shoot. Someone on another board pointed out that if it was a buck that he wanted to shoot then his rack would most definitely be in the way therefore no shot. ;D

I would wait on the shot. I feel if you took the shot right now the string noise would cause the deer to raise its head causing a neck or head shot. This deer is a dead deer with some patience for sure.
