I think I am going to get one for this season. Anyone know how much they cost or have an opinion on them?

I just got my bow "tuned" by a good shop in town and my rest has been adjusted in some way. I shoot a WB deluxe or whatever and now my arrows are all over the place!! There are all those little adjustments and I can't seem to get this bow dialed in again. Someone please tell me how this thing is supposed to be set so that the arrows leave straight and don't do that tail whip crap!! I was shooting amazing groups a week ago and tonight I ended up with two more arrows out of commission. Not to mention the fact that I just had them refletched. Any help appreciated!!

I love mine...........Can't say much about how to tune them as mine has stayed set from day one. Most guys I know love them for hunting. Sorry you are having troubles.

This happenned early last year when I first got it on....after messing with the up and down and the left and right things straightened out. I am really frusterated that I have to re adjust everything so close to the 1st of the month. Looks like I have a LOT of shooting to do between now and then!

i've had one for 2 years now and wouldn't go back to the bodoodle for nothing, as for problems mine was put on by tom at lonesome elk archery, he used a laser light and ran it up and down the arrow, and by the time i left i was shooting awesome groups, i haven't touched it or my sites in 2 years the only time i don't get good groups is when i mess up.

I've been using Whisker Biscuits since 2001 wouldn't use any thing else for hunting now. Archer's Nookhas them for about $45 US. See under Carolina, www.archersnook.com/stabiliz.htmlDigger

I have a brand new WB in my hunting closet that I got at clearance price at Wally world for $27 plus two replacement biscuits for $2 each. I have never had a problem with my arrow falling off my rest(NAP 3000 microtune prong style), but I'm primarily a tree stand hunter and I can see the value of this rest for stillhunting, or spot and stalk. I tried it and I think it is a good solid rest, but it takes a lot of patience to tune it compared to the rest I use now. I put it back in the original packaging and haven't touched it since. I would part with the one I've got in my closet for $20. It would include the two replacement biscuits also. It is the original WB for aluminum arrows,(not the one with a notch cut into the biscuit) and the replacement biscuits are for carbon arrows. IMO the replacement for carbon are not needed, and the aluminum biscuit would work fine for carbon or aluminum. retnuhreed~~If you want to try it out, let me know and I will send it your way....pending payment of course.

I would go with the deluxe QS . faster arrow loading. Bohning vanes work well with the biscuit. I like Blazers.

Hello Friends..
I had one on my Mathews and it was there for all of possibly 30 minutes. I had more problems with the arrow flight NO MATTER what adjustment I made.
I have been setting bows up for and getting GREAT arrow flight from practically EVERY arrow rest on the market BUT I could not get what I expected from this rest.
I was totally disappointed with arrow and fletching clearance was that supposed to be minimal and I could visually see wear on my vanes which was NOT supposed to happen.
I decided to takethe WB off and I sold it to my neighbor for $15.00 and I installed my old TrophyTaker Shakey Hunter2 fall away rest that I have used on my last 4 bows and I started shooting excellant groups again.
I had heard some great reports and stories about the Whisker Biscuit rest and I wanted to try one... Oh well...

I put a whisker biscuit on when I bought a new bow last summer. My buddy "eyed" it when we put it on and I have not had a problem with it since. I really like it. I shoot feathers and will probably have to refletch my arrows after this season, but I've also shot a lot.

I put a WB on my daughters bow and it created so much drag on her arrows that it slowing her arrows down too much. She shoots a 40# bow and there was about an 8 inch drop from 10 yard to 20 yards. It should have been more like an inch to 11/2 inches of drop between the two distances. I put a two prong Cavalier rest on and things are flying faster and flatter now.
