How close can you hunt to a road and still be legal. Vehicle is a hundred yards away.

Indiana Code does not specify a distance. The statute states that you csnnot shoot within, into, upon, or across a public highway which includes the right of way of the roadway. The right of way varies not just county to county but road to road. A good rule of thumb is to be on the opposite side of the powerlines as the roadway. However, this is just a guide and you would have to verify everything through the county surveyors office.
IC 14-22-6-9 Shooting from or across public highways prohibited Sec. 9. A person may not: (1) hunt, shoot, shoot at, or kill an animal; or (2) shoot at an object; from within, into, upon, or across a public highway in Indiana.
