Shot this big guy on a gut pile. When I get a deer I gut them out in the field next to the house. I usually get a coyote each year off of them. This one was a huge male, 42#, 22-250 at 110 yds.  |

Congratulations. The only one I've gotten so far this year was off a gutpile as well.

I do the same thing after deer season but I pick up a road kill deer. Get a tag for it and stake it down in back field where I can see it out the back window. Kill several off of it every year.
