In Indiana can you break a state record by means of bowfishing? Rules state hook an line. Bowfishing is legal means which would seem to apply.

Indiana does not have bowfishing state records. Our Fish and Wildlife Division has tried to work with a couple bowfishing organizations to get a record program established but they never came through.
Bowfishing and hook and line fishing are two completely separate means of taking fish. They cannot be combined.
At this time, Indiana does not have a bowfishing record program.
