Never thought I'd get a picture like this on our little parcel. Must run the creek bed along with all the other animals. I cleared a path with a weed eater through all the small growth and a lot of animals are really using it.

Looks like caught lunch. Glad it wasn't a fawn..
DNR is proposing a limited season on them. Probably won't happen until next year if passed..

What you think it is.... tail looks long! Pic is misleading. I believe that is its hind leg stretched back that makes it look likes its tail. Definitely a bobcat. I'm ready for a season. I'll get one to mount and that's probably it.

At first it looks like a Cougar. Then I looked at the prey item in it's mouth and that looks like a Fox Squirrel. Note the white underbelly. So then I thought maybe it's a big house cat. Most likely it's a bob cat but the tail appears long not short. Maybe the thing that I thought was it's tail was actually one of it's hind legs. The key for me is the prey item which is dragging it's tail on the ground. So if that is indeed a fox squirrel then it's a smaller predator that I thought at first glance. Heck I have no clue what this is. Anything from a small house cat to a big cougar. At least it's not a TIGER!
