under the new rifle law IC 14-22-2-8 . "5) A hunter may not possess more than ten (10) cartridges for the rifle while hunting deer under this section."
Would that be on the person, or would ammo in camp or in a vehicle be counted?
I often camp in my woods for a week or more & use the same rifle for coyote & raccoons during the week..

While you are in the act of hunting deer, you would not be allowed to possess more than 10 cartridges. The cartridges would be considered in your possession if they were on your person or easily accessible while you were hunting.
