We own some land in Franklin county. My daughter who is 6 wants to sit with me and maybe hunt with a Xbox. She is a pretty good shot up to 20 yards. If she decides to shoot can this be tagged as a landowner? do we need to buy her an apprentice license? Can we do this for three years until she needs to take hunter ed?
I would rather get this right on the front end then make it a learning experience on the backend.
Thanks for you guidance.

If you are the owner of farmland, your daughter, as well as any other dependent, living with you may hunt the land without having to purchase a license. The Hunter Education requirement is for an individual to purchase a hunting license.
