The original Corn Fields post question and your answer to it had me intrigued.
Assume the same situation popcornridgevevay posted about in the original Corn Fields thread EXCEPT, instead of discing it, he does nothing. He doesn't harvest, disc, or plow it under. He just "lets it go".
Would it be legal to hunt?

Letting it stand is a normal agricultural process. The crop may be harvested at any time. There is not a requirement to harvest the crop but restrictions are in placed as to how the crop may or may not be manipulated. However, to disc, plow, or mow the crop is considered crop manipulation and cannot be hunted over unless the crop was harvested first.
