I own three trucks. Sometimes when I go hunting, I pull a small trailer in the event I need more room to haul deer out of the field and back home when I'm hunting with a partner.
The trailer does not have a secure place on it where I can store the registration for its license plate.
Does Indiana law allow for me to make photocopies of my registration slip for that trailer plate and keep a copy of it in each vehicle for presentation to a law enforcement officer upon request? Or is only the original registration slip issued by the BMV valid for this purpose?

Copies will meet the requirement of the law.
