Good afternoon. I have hunted in several states over the last few years, and intend hunting even more regularly from this year onwards. Thing is, I live in the UK and fly over to the states a couple of times a year. In the past, I have bought my licenses over the internet or from local vendors. When I do this, I have occasionally been asked for a Hunter Ed number. As I am old (52), I get away with not having to actually have a Hunter Ed, but I really would like to get one.
I know IN do an online only certification, but from what I can see, this would be unavailable to people from over seas.
Does anyone know of a Hunter Ed that I can do online? I have looked at doing an online course, with a single day's training on the ground, but trying to find a range day that fits in with my vacation visits seems problematical
Any advice would be much appreciated

The Indiana online course is limited to Indiana residence who are 12 years old or older.
Some states do not have this restrictions. I believe Texas doesn't have such restrictions but there may be other states as well.
My suggestion is to conduct an internet serve for online hunter education courses and then you could look through what the various states provide. Due to ethical issues, I will not direct you to one online vendor versus another online vendor. I will caution you that not all online courses are approved for all states but all states have reciprocity with other states regardless if that particular course is used in both states. For example, if State X uses Vendor A but not vendor B and State Y uses Vendor A and Vendor B, State X will recognize both certifications from State Y to purchase a hunting license.
