I am getting mixed info from different folks about the legality of hunting over corn fields that have been cut for silage. Around my place cutting corn for silage/chop is very common as we have one of the largest dairy farms in the state right down the road. Previously this wasn't much of an issue as many of those same fields where simply harvested via combine.
So...is it legal to hunt migratory birds over silage fields?

Hunting migratory birds over a field cut for silage would be legal. Cutting silage is a normal agricultural process.
