Two hunters both hunt on private land that shares a property line. The first hunter places a stand along the property line facing his land. If the second hunter creates a mineral site along his side of the property line 10 feet from the first hunter's stand, would this mean the first hunter is hunting over bait? In other words, can a land owner render a property line "unhuntable" by placing salt blocks along it and prevent his neighbor from legally hunting it?

If this situation were to arise, I would recommend the first hunter contact the local Conservation Officer. This would demonstrate the first hunters lack of involvement in the placing of the salt blocks.
The placing of the salt blocks by the second hunter (land owner) would not typically make the property of the first hunter unhuntable.
