Can the dispatched nuisance animal be consumed as food?

The administrative code states that a person may NOT possess the animal for more than 24 hours. The animal may NOT be sold, traded, bartered,or gifted. There is nothing that I can find that prevents the landowner from eating it. Understand, the animal must be causing damage or a threat to public safety or health.
