In a discussion on another site...
I posted that the DNR had named a new Director of Fish and Wildlife.
Several posters posted that they hope that person could reverse the "no holstered handguns" rule on the ranges. I'm not sure the new F and W Director is over the ranges?
Can you tell me who is over the ranges and who sets the rules? How does one go about making their opinions know on the set rules?

The DNR ranges are under the Division of Fish and Wildlife. The ranges are ran by vendors through contracts with DFW. The rule may be a vendor established rule versus an administrative code.
