My sons' 26 year old GF has never hunted or bought a hunting license. Can she purchase an Apprentice license and get a Game bird Stamp to hunt during Dove season with him? Will she need to buy the Apprentice License and get Game Bird Stamp? Would that count as 2 towards the 3 only allowed during her lifetime without taking a Hunter Safety Course? She's unsure if she will be interested in hunting and dove hunting would be less "gruesome" than field dressing a deer-lol.

The license is the limiting factor to three. The stamp does not have an impact on the limit established.
