As the title says, how many deer can be taken in one day? I am a little confused reading the rules as I do not see a clear answer unless I am missing something.
Scenario: I get set up in a spot and ten minutes later a doe walks by. I shoot her. Do I need to tag her immediately or can I sit and wait and see if another deer walks past and shoot it before tagging the first one? Or does the deer need to be tagged and then I can go back to hunting? Or can I only take one per day?
Thanks.

The temporary tag needs to be completed as directed immediately upon the taking of the deer. The tag does not need to be attached to the deer as long as the person taking the deer maintains physical control over the deer or the person has constant visual contact of the carcass.
There is not a daily limit only a season limit as established by the Administrative Code or emergency rule.
