Land Owner Question

I know as a land owner that my wife and I plus children can hunt with out a license on my farm.
My question is. Since my daughter is coming home from college over Thanksgiving does she need a license to hunt my farm. She is a full time college student that lives on campus. Thank you.

The rule of thumb is whether the child is claimed as a dependent by the landowner. The majority of children at college are claimed as dependents by the parents and not living on their own. If the child is not a dependent of the landowner, which can be established through tax documents, the child must have a license to hunt, fish, or trap.
