I see there`s been a lot of discussion as to how many centerfire rounds one may "possess" while deer hunting. This may seem to be an overkill question, and obvious, but I think it begs the question to be asked: What defines "possession" in regards to centerfire cartridges? Is this what I have in my possession while in a blind or stand, in the field hunting? Or does this include what`s in my vehicle?

The number of cartridges a hunter possesses would be the cartridges within and under his immediate control. It would include any cartridges on his person or within close proximity. It would not include the cartridges in a vehicle, unless the person was hunting from the vehicle in accordance with a permit, statute, or administrative code.
