Thank you for your response in the original UTV (ORV) registration required thread. I have a new question:

Are golf carts classified as ORV's or do they fall under a different classification?

If different, do you have the laws governing their use (or a web link to the Indiana code section pertaining to this)?

I am unaware of state codes that regulate the use of golf carts. The ORV statute specifically states a golf cart is not an ORV. Some county and city ordinances address the use of golf carts. You would need to check with local officials to obtain information about what is and is not allowed.
