I seen on a hunting site where a guy claim Franklin co was hit hard by ehd this year. Wouldn't surprise me but are there actually a lot of confirmed cases this year?

I would recommend you contact the deer biologist. They monitor the data much closer than our Division does and could state more accurately if more cases were reported this year than in prior years.
