I wanna make some yote attractant.
Found a recipe on line from an old trapper.
I need some horse hove trimmings especially the frog part.
Anyone that has horses have some lying around. Maybe half pounds worth?

Hoosier Trapper Supply, buy the lure and have it delivered. I'm lazy and don't have a lot of spare time.

Get you some Carmins Canine Call. My favorite K-9 lure. A little goes a long way.

This recipe will be used in a spray bottle.
Note says do not get on skin.
Smell will have to wear off. Washing will not work.

I looked for some in our horse barn but we haven't had hay burners for sometime and the trimmings have since disappeared.

Haven't found any hooves yet but started making some lures or baits for yote calling. Got some woodchuck, deer, deer liver ,fish and some woodchuck that's was sealed in a bucket, outside, since last sept!! New stuff was aged 48 hrs and then some sodium benzoate was added to stop the fermenting process. Now wait a few days till its done gassing off. Then I can add the other ingredients.  |

The smell is so strong you can almost taste it. Had to move the bucket out of my garage.
