Looks like it won't go into affect until 2025. Will require a $15 license. DNR will work out more details later

Is this going to be a hunting or trapping season, or both?

Is this going to be a hunting or trapping season, or both? That's up to the DNR.….may as well have a Dog running season also that way they can be killed 24/7 when season is in. I say less then have the counties in the state will have a season when it starts. Anyone heard when public input starts?

And it could also be a harvest quota of zero. All they have to do is establish the season.

I bet a quota would of zero would trigger a lawsuit, but who knows.
I don’t necessarily like how it happened, but I am happy that we are getting a season.
I don’t know about running with dogs, that sure sounds fun, but properties are pretty small around here for that style of hunting.
Everywhere I know of with a bobcat season allows night hunting. Not saying they all do, but most.

Should have had this a long time ago! I spoke with someone a while back who was up on their Indiana Legislation and was told it was coming. I'm glad we have a season coming but this really needs to come out of the DNR not government. But again if that's the only way we can get it I'll take it!
