The Buckmasters American Deer Foundation (BADF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that seeks to carry out the mission of making a real difference for real people. Local Buckmasters chapters hold events and raise funds for the BADF to conduct such projects as Disabled Services, Project Venison, Hunting in Education, Conservation, or just about anything local hunters feel is worthy. The Buckmasters American Deer Foundation helps administer those funds, and helps the local Buckmasters chapters set up and run their events. For the hunters involved, nothing can describe the feeling of accomplishment and thankfulness of sending a sick child on his or her dream hunt, or when they help provide meals for their town's hungry and poor. But Buckmasters chapters aren't limited to just hunting-related projects -- one local Buckmasters chapter recently purchased new computers for their local nursing home! No matter what the project, the BADF helps carry out the Buckmasters mission of making a difference. An important intrinsic benefit is that these men and women can stand tall in their communities and show that hunters are good, caring people who attempt to put more into this world than they take. If you really want to experience what it means to make a difference, become involved in your local Buckmasters chapter.
