HMMM. Looks like I might have an accounting error here somewhere. My totals of the districts came out as 3,145 and the IDNR's said theer was total difference of 3,004 for the year. 141 difference in mine and their's. Back to calculator..

Interesting numbers for sure, look at Dearborn - what happened there? 400 people take last season off?

This is even crazier. I had the hardest hunting ever in Parke county taking 1 doe (1 deer total) in early archery and hunted every type weapon all the way through late archery. And Parke county shows a +77. I ended up taking 2 deer in 2 days in LaPorte county during late muzzleloader (and could have taken a few more if I had wanted to be greedy). And LaPorte county shows -260! Amazing!

I'll do this the scientific way tomorrrow in an Excel spreadsheet.

Does Lawrence County belong in District 3? Is this an Error? OK. I believe you have 2 Lawrence Counties listed.

The DNR district map I am working off of is small and the letters were hard to read. I corrected that, but theer is still am error somewhere. I re-check everything in the morning.

My bro in law has caught or shot a good number of coyotes but they all had a slow year up there. As the numbers show for Laporte Co, but that is a huge county and they kill alot of deer up there. If I was really bored I'd pull the last 5 years data and figure the percent difference. That would give you apples to apples cause a 10 deer difference in a place like Tipton Co is much more significant then 100 deer in many of the top counties.

I wonder if we go to telecheck how that would affect the numbers The numbers will go down, by approx. 30% or so. But the number will still be in ratio of what it was with check stations and will still be good enough for modelling the population.
