Very interesting results in the other Earn A Buck Poll.. at huntingindiana.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=deerhunting&action=display&thread=32200So IF we had an Earn A Buck on the SECOND Buck…the “earned buck tag” should be –$24 for the second buck only $24 for an either sex second tag $24 for a combo tag (second buck and an antlerless) $30 for a combo tag (second buck and an antlerless) $35 for a combo tag (second buck and an antlerless) $40 for a combo tag (second buck and an antlerless) $48 for a combo tag (second buck and an antlerless) No opinion

I have a lifetime license so I don't have an opinion. I do think if a second buck is earned it should only be after harvest multiple does.

$30 combo. If they want more does killed, it has to be on the cheap!

LTL here also...WHICH brings up an interesting point - how would they accommodate LTL holders in EAB?

Telecheck will take care of that little detail!

Telecheck will not work for EAB, no way to verify a doe was killed. You want EAb or telecheck? Both won't be possible. Make mine telecheck.

I wouldn't bother with buying the tag, so makes no difference to me.
When it comes down to what is adopted, a lot of it is geared toward increasing revenue from license sales. If the DNR wants does shot, make the doe tags really cheap.
I do think EAB will increase the doe harvest some in the short term, but I also wonder about what it does to hunter recruitment over time.

One is enough considering most tag buying hunters hunters take only a buck or no deer . Why push it they will be killing two does with the combo tag and original doe.

I agree that a cheater is going to cheat. Now you get real, you don't really think that the state is going to make it all that easy that all you have to do is call a number, say you killed a doe and that will give you a buck tag. When Wisconsin had EAB they would cut a notch in the ear of the doe to keep a guys 10 other buddies from checking in the same deer. All I am saying is they will not issue a buck tag without some type of verification. If you can think of a way to do it with telecheck I want to hear it.

Sure it can be that easy they give you a tag number when you check in a deer and there it is with out telecheck its as simple as a computer entry of the tag number or phone call with the number entry so the number can be entered and then you buy the second tag .Look there is no need to be so untrusting of fellow hunters those who want a second buck tag will get it one way or the other so stricter polioceing will just make more holes for the cheaters to fall through and simply act to disscurage deer hunters who want to play by the rules ,Less hoops to jump through here in Indiana are needed not more that is part of the reason we have lost 100,000 deer hunters in the last 10 to 15 years at one point Indiana had 325,000 deer hunters at one time back in the 1990s now we have around 230,000 do the math more regulation higher prices to hunt and more hoops to jump through the more lost .We must have more hunters we currently do not but hardly dent the deer herd that includes bucks as well as does . Time for all of us to wake up and let go and through off the greed and jelousy or mistrust and make hunting an enjoyable sport again . This starts with us hunters and ends with the DNR.
