I don't know much about rifles but I see 30.06 listed here. Isn't that a lot longer than 1.8 inches that it would be changed to?

We're listing what we would use if all Center Fire(CF) calibers were allowed.

We're listing what we would use if all Center Fire(CF) calibers were allowed. That's what Joe wants. And .30/.378 Weatherby factory ammo can be had from your favorite Cabels's for $129.99 [plus shipping and sales tax] for a box of TWENTY. But if you reload, the new unprimed brass can be had for $69.99 plus for a box of TWENTY.

I had a similar experience with a TC Encore .50 cal. loaded with 43 grains of smokeless .... unbeknown to me when I pulled the trigger.... amazingly it hit me in the chest and I managed somehow to grab it as I was rolling backwards on the stool I was perched upon... I have never seen anyone laugh so hard as the two other fellows there.. scared the crap outa me!!! Lesson learned ... never shoot something you don't know what it's loaded with no matter how many times your called a chicken @#$^ looser.....

Sounds fair enough to me if u compare what some of these new hp sabots in 12 ga cost. I've seen $20-25/box of 5.(it's getting out of hand really)
I don't own any rifles except a 10/22 ruger and would cause an uproar if I said I'd use that. Have to b strictly heart shots; no shoulders and under 50 yds I think. Interesting to say the least but definitely cost effective @ $.02/shot. So on that note I'd still use the 50 cal UFM with 275 gr fury. It'll out shoot most hp I've seen up to 500 yds & legal now. Cost about $2/shot(not including price of the gun lol)

My western deer rifle is a Rem 700 custom, chambered in .270 Weatherby.
This aint ever gonna happen. They won't want people shooting 3 & 400+ yards.
