If this "propasal" that we can use CFR. What will you be using? Or will you just stick your slug gun or muzzeloader?
I would be packing my dad's old .300 savage.

I will still use my Marlin 1894 in .44 Magnum. Spent a bunch of money to get it the way I wanted it, and that's not counting all the time and gas money I spent 20 years ago when the PCR movement initially started. All my shots are under 100 yards, and average around 40 yds. and under. Way to many houses have been built in good deer country by city folk moving to the "country" not realizing that once they move into a housing project that used to be a farm, they aren't in the country anymore. And I have several rifles that I could use if that rule were ever implemented, but I'll stick with what works for me, and not what someone else wants to use.

I had a bunch of centerfire rifles most of which I have given to my sons after I had a .358 BFG built. Still have a .243 for varmits though that would work. Oh and a .35 remington 7600 carbine that I probably would convert to .358 winchester.

"If" there was a proposal to allow high power rifles and it got passed into law, I own a 30/30 that I have taken deer with and a new .243 handi to start the kids with. Since there isn't a proposal, I will be taking the kids south and doing the same thing. I actually have taken my muzzle loader instead of the 30/30 because I have more range.
I am using the .243 in Indiana now, just not for deer.

Probably stick with my Savage ML... I don't own a centerfire. If I were to buy one, probably a 300 win mag, so I could use out west too...

I would definitely use my Remington 710 in 30-06. I know there have been some discussions that bring it down but mine has always been asweet shot. I got it brand new 8 years ago (with 3x9x40 Bushnell) for $250 and the first group out of the box(it cam bore sighted) was about 1.5 inches @ 100m. The gun is better than I am ;P

It'd depend where I was hunting, but probably most of my hunting would be done with my Browning A-Bolt Mountain Ti in .243 loaded with 85g Barnes TSX bullets. The .257 Wby works very well on deer, and if I need to shoot further I can always use the 7mm. ;D

Most likely a 260 Rem or 25/06. Both are outstanding on whitetail deer. h.h.

Here, in Ky, I use either my .270 or .308 rifles. If hunting Deer in Indiana; I would use my Ruger Model 77/.44 Rifle.

I currently have a 30-06, .243, .243WSSM, and a 30-30 to choose from right now and would use them all at some point. IF it ever came to be that we could use HPR I reckon that would be a great excuse to go get me some more HPR toys!! ;D Love to get maybe a .270 and a 25-06 to start out with.

Just an old Marlin lever gun chambered in .35 Remington or if I was feeling really lucky maybe break out the old Winchester lever gun 30/30 with open sights.
