My guess is if you buy the bundle you can use those licenses for any season and with any legal equipment during those seasons. Thus, that would include xbows. If you don't buy the bundle then you will have to purchase a separate license just as before. That would include having to puchase an xbow license as they are now legal for next season. At least that's how I'm reading it.......

I dont quite get the reduced rate of $65. 24 for antlered 24 for first anterless and 15 for additional antlerless adds up to 63 bucks where I went to school. ?

Bonus tags are already good for all seasons, so you are only getting to possibly hunt for that trophy in another season? Correct

So glad I purchased the Lifetime License many years ago. These regs are already confusing for hunters. Me to on the LTL. I get a head ache just reading about all the options and regulations to just be legal to hunt deer in this state. Plus it has saved me a bunch of cash. By far the best 525 bucks I will ever have spent. I don't even know what a resident deer tag cost now days.

The WORD back from the DNR...
If they purchase a deer license bundle, they will not need to purchase a crossbow license to hunt in the regular firearm, muzzleloader, archery, or special antlerless only seasons.
I asked about a License FAQ or any other communication and the DNR sent back –
I do know that a full deer hunting guide (that is actually printed and mailed to license retailers) and FAQs are all planned. Public meetings are also being discussed, but I don't know for sure at this point on those.
The disability permit to use a crossbow is no longer needed.
We need a little time to get all of this on the web now that they are now in effect.

Holy Crap, can Indiana's hunting license system get any more confusing?!?! Makes it very hard to be 100% sure that I am legal when I am hunting!

Funny how they include the Youth season, since we can't hunt during that period, and the one's that can, won't be purchasing this "bundle".
Make it try to sound like your getting alot more for a lil' less.

Maybe after the OBR decision is made, we can get to having just antlerless and a single either sex tag that is good the entire year.

To put it as simple as possible. If you buy the Bundle. You basically get 2 bonus antlerless tags and a buck tag that can be used during any season. You dont have to buy a tag for each season. Plain as can be......

I bet Joe won't like the one license for xbows and conventional in archery season....lol.
Lug. Don't see why the bundle wouldn't benefit a youth such as Shawn who hunts all the seasons?
Guess I'll purchase one, better deal than what WE were getting.

A consolidated youth license is much cheaper already and is all they need.

Finally, while the price still seems a little steep, the DNR has done something that made sense. One license that covers all the seasons!! Woot! Woot!
