Same here HC thought it was going to be a great(sat) morn for taking squirrels. Stone quiet, half hr into the hunt not a limb chicken seen or heard, its starts a light rain then going into a little heavier rain i headed to the trk. Sit it out (ok napped) for about hr Then headed back out to the hickory I know they have been cuttin in.. Nothing moving at all. Give up that hour and half later.... Congrats to those off to a good start.

Please add two more for Team 7, Woody.
Went out for a little while this Sunday morning before the rain hit us. There is a hickory tree close to my house. Seen over eight but due to the poor lighting (Cloudy) I only managed two. Both were Gray Squirrels, boy I sure miss hunting those Hoosier Fox Squirrels as they are FAR EASIER to bring to bag than these Grays down here, especially with a .22 rifle.

one this morning. found two more sections of destroyed fence and a salt block the trespassers planted 30 yds from one of my stands. Probably the same block t he Co photographed under their stand a couple weeks ago. Gonna be a fun season. They better hope the CO catches them before me.

I got two this morning for team 6, but forgot to take a picture of them before cleaning. So I took a picture of their tails. Nice work trapperdave, that puts us at 6. Now if I could only learn to shoot, we may have a chance. ;-)
